In 1938 there was a radio program “The Lone Ranger” and after a while, the audience enjoyed the screen version in a serial with the same title. American Republic Movie produced 15 chapters of captivating adventures.
Let’s check out the plot! Mark Smith the Captain of the group of deserters. Breaking away with his band he wants to occupy Texas. This captain has a long list of sins, as he hides his real face and takes on a different persona – Colonel Marcus Jeffries who was murdered earlier.
When the squad of Texas Rangers enters the town they fall into an ambush managed by Smith’s soldiers. Almost all rangers are killed, except one who survived and was nursed by the redskin Tonto. Of course, wounds are cured but the desire for revenge rankles all the time. Thus, how this guy becomes the Lone Ranger. Smith can’t guess who he is and what his name is. Meanwhile, the batch of rebels makes a stand against the “Colonel Jeffries” regime. But, in order to crush the rebellion, he needs to wipe out the Ranger who’s more probably one of the fighters.
